From a two-person crew to a national fit-out team.
Lantec started in 2009 with two plasterers, a ute and a single Penrose unit. The brief was simple: deliver interior finishes properly the first time, and treat every developer's programme as our own. Word travelled fast, and within five years we'd grown into a full interior fit-out contractor.
Today we run crews across Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch. Our portfolio spans multi-unit residential towers, CBD office fit-outs, and large-scale retirement villages — but the operating principles haven't changed since the ute: own the programme, communicate like partners, and never cut a corner you wouldn't accept yourself.
We're proud to be one of the few NZ contractors offering plasterboard, paint, steel framing, insulation and barrier systems on a single contract. It means tighter programmes, cleaner handovers, and one accountable team from start to finish.
